Dark Rain

This is a prototype for Dark Rain, a short 2D cyberpunk adventure. It does not yet include all features shown in the trailer.

Hello, my name is Max Conroy and I created this little game. I programmed it in C# with Monogame and drew it with Aseprite.

About the Game:

The current prototype includes 2 missions; The story for the final product is this: 

Set in the distant future where corporations rule the Earth, overpopulation and pollution have forced humanity to colonize the solar system. You play a mercenary who will take any job, if the pay is good. You will take on missions like tracking a bounty, smuggling contraband, clearing outposts of unwanted inhabitants and more. You will spend your earnings on upgrading your load out, buying properties and customizing them, growing crops and manufacturing goods for trade to expand your business.
